How do I configure DICOM settings?

I'd like to enable a modality worklist and/or configure PACS settings. How do I do that?

The process is quite simple.

Configuring DICOM via the Vave App

NOTE: You must have administrator access to your org in order to configure DICOM settings.

  1. Login to your Vave account on your mobile device.
  2. Choose the organization you want to configure by clicking the menu icon in the top left. The first item in the list is your current org. If that's the org you want to configure, then move to the next step. Otherwise, choose the first item and then select the org you wish to configure. (If you only belong to one org so there will only be one choice.)
  3. Click the menu icon again and choose DICOM Configuration.
  4. Enter the Calling AE Title you wish to use.
  5. Click on either the Worklist or PACS tabs to access the appropriate configuration.
  6. Complete the settings fields.
  7. Click the Test Connection button to see if you are able to connect to the server you specified. If the test was unsuccessful, correct your settings and try again.
  8. Once you have a successful connection, click Save Configuration.

Configuring DICOM via the Vave Web Portal

NOTE: You must have administrator access to your org in order to configure DICOM settings.

  1. Point your browser to the Vave web portal at https://cloud.vavehealth.com and sign in.
  2. Choose Organizations from the menu bar on the left.
  3. Double-click on the org for which you would like to configure DICOM settings.
  4. Choose DICOM Configuration from the result page's menu.
  5. Click Edit for the configuration set you would like to configure.
  6. Click Save when done.
