Yes, the Vave probes are safe for airplane travel, but they should be packed in your carry-on.

The Vave probes are safe for airplane travel. However, both the Phased-Array and Universal probes use lithium batteries. Therefore, if you’re traveling by air, you should pack the probe battery (or the entire probe) in your carry-on luggage instead of checked luggage.
